Tamburi e Fantasmi

The GROUP50:50 artists – Huguette Tolinga, Ruth Kemna, Elia Rediger and Eva-Maria Bertschy – and the Palermo-based artist Diawara Bandiougou explore the connections between drumming and the commemoration of the dead together with a group of students, artists and activists. They remember cultural practices from times when we still cohabited with spirits and invent cross-cultural rituals to mourn personal losses and the forgotten dead. A short film will premiere in early November as part of The Time For Denial Is Over at euro-scene in Leipzig.
